We welcome you to the Maine Women's Fund grantee community.

Since the late 1980's, the Maine Women's Fund has raised and invested $1.4 million in 250 projects throughout Maine.  Our grantmaking supports women's economic empowerment, access to quality health care and health information, protection from violence, and self-determination.  Currently, we offer two funding cycles, one for the Maine Women's Fund and one for the New Girls' Fund for Social Change.

In 2007, twenty of our grantees participated in an experiment in new media:  they created photo montages to explain--in photos, text, and music--their organization's impact on the lives of women and girls.  We invite you to explore their stories.
